magic: 1-2 total affixes at most 1 prefix and 1 suffix.Item rarity and item level (ilvl) determine how many affixes the item can have: Affixes are grouped and items cannot have more than one affix from each group - similar attributes are usually grouped together, but not always (notably prefixes/suffixes) so items can have multiple affixes which add the same attributes in some cases.

They are randomly selected for magic/ rare/ crafted items when those items are initially generated and each affix has its own weighted frequency, making some affixes rarer than others.

While there are 4 Circlets (Circlet, Coronet, Tiara, and Diadem), you can only get Tiaras and Diadems by gambling Coronets. For some reason, Giant Conch has the lowest iLvl of any Elite helm. For some reason, Boneweave has the lowest iLvl of any Elite body armor. Rings and Amulets are available at level 1 and do not have Exceptional or Elite versions. For example, if you wanted an Elite Crossbow Cho-Ko-Nu (ilevel 54), you would need to be at least level 50 to have a chance. To get a chance at an Exceptional or Elite item, you must be no more than 4 levels lower than the target item. However, they may not be able to get Exceptional or Elite versions until much later due to iLvl restrictions. By character level 55, players will be offered any of these base items in their 14-item Gambling window. This shows the minimum item level of all base items you can gamble in Diablo II: Resurrected, plus the names and item levels for all Exceptional and Elite versions. This is an accompanying guide to Gambling in Diablo II: Resurrected Patch 2.7 & Ladder Season 4.
